About Us
We're a husband-and-wife team producing music for our three young children. Little Tune Lab was born in our own home, from the simple idea that our kids deserve great music and we shouldn't have to suffer through it.
We believe that children's music can be both imaginative and musically sophisticated. We focus on well-crafted music about subjects kids love—trains, construction vehicles, dinosaurs, and more—without dumbing down the musical experience for adults. Every song is carefully produced to create a shared musical experience that families can enjoy together.
Our Process
Creating music for children is more than melodies and lyrics. It is about sparking curiosity, fueling imagination, and creating meaningful moments. Each album starts with a clear concept. We ask how the music can support our children's play, learning, and discovery. We consider the activities our children are engaged in and the sounds we want filling our home during those moments.
Once the concept and purpose are clear, we break the album into individual songs. Each track is crafted with intention, exploring angles that inspire imagination, support social-emotional learning, and engage multiple senses. Lyrics, melodies, rhythms, and instrumentation are thoughtfully developed to create music that is rich, age-appropriate, and meaningful. Every decision, from the mood and energy of the song to how it fits into playtime, is guided by our vision for the experience our family will have.
At the final stage, AI tools help us produce and shape the music, bringing these ideas to life while staying true to our creative direction. Every track is polished through multiple rounds of review. We only release music we feel comfortable playing for our own children.
